Easy Science at the Pool – Lesson Plans

As a parent, I feel like I’m always trying to sneak in learning in everyday activities. Especially when my kid was younger we would talk about how the world works and why things are the way they are as a natural part of the day.

Going to the pool or otherwise playing with water is a good opportunity to bring in some simple science, with these ideas from Team Cartwright.

With a little prep (and reading the post if you don’t already know the answers) you’ll be equipped to talk about why boats float, why fish are shaped the way they are and how sound waves work.

Check out the blog post for all the details.
