UOMA Beauty Love Hypnotic Impact High-Shine Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, reddish-plum with soft, warm undertones and barely-there gold pearl throughout a glossier finish. It had sheer to semi-sheer color coverage, which applied evenly but could have been more forgiving of lip lines.
The texture was smooth, lightweight, and like an emollient balm that was lightly tacky after the initial application. It lasted well for three hours and felt hydrating over time.

The reformulation is described as having a “buildable wash of color” with “reflective sheen” that is “moisturiz[ing].” They had semi-sheer coverage, which was somewhat buildable to medium coverage, but the tones were closer to my natural lip color and were often difficult to discern from one shade to the next as a result (and your mile may vary depending on your natural lip color).
The texture was smooth, balmy, and had moderate slip, but there was a light tackiness present to it that helped the product stay in place a bit better and still feel comfortable. They lasted around three hours on average but were hydrating.
There was a faint, fruity-floral scent but no discernible taste.

UOMA Beauty She-tore Hypnotic Impact High-Shine Lipstick ($24.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a medium, plummy brown with warm, gold shimmer throughout. It had semi-sheer, buildable pigmentation (to medium) with a smooth, more balm-like texture that had moderate glide but didn’t feel too slippery on as there was light tackiness after it had been applied.
This shade seemed to smooth out my lip lines a little bit, too, which was a nice feature. It stayed on nicely for three hours and was moisturizing while worn.
