Terra Moons Venus, Centauri, Hyperion, Blood Moon Extreme Multichrome Shadows Reviews & Swatches

Venus

Terra Moons Venus Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a lighter, gray base paired with multichrome shimmer that shifted between pink, copper, gold, and chartreuse paired with a sparkling finish. The texture was more loosely-pressed with this shade, and with the finish being a little more sparkly, there was light fallout during the initial application if I applied it using a dry brush.

For less fallout and a smoother initial layer of product, I would recommend applying with a fingertip or a dampened brush. It had mostly opaque, buildable pigmentation that wore well for eight hours on me with slight fallout over time.

$17.00/0.05 oz. – $340.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have a black base and “intense color changes” that are best applied with fingertip or a dry brush, as they are “very pigmented and smooth.” The brand recommends not to blend them too much to “preserve the extreme multichrome shift.”

The blackened base was noticeable, but often, it wasn’t quite as dark or as intense as I’ve experienced with other black-base multichromes, so they were a little more forgiving if one blended them out a little too much. Most of the shades lived up to the “extreme” part of the shift, too!

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

Centauri

Terra Moons Centauri Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a black-based multichrome that shifted between reddish-plum, golden copper, and olive green. The green was at the very extreme end of the shift, so it wasn’t as apparent under most lighting conditions for me. It had a more metallic finish, but it was very smooth and shiny rather than sparkly.

It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of product. The texture was soft, not too firmly nor too softly-pressed into the pan, so it picked up well with a dry brush but wasn’t prone to fallout. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before creasing faintly on me.

Hyperion

Terra Moons Hyperion Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a gray-based multichrome that shifted between blackened olive, taupe, olive green, and forest green paired with a metallic finish. The texture was smooth, almost cream-like, as it was silky and finely-milled without being powdery.

The eyeshadow had opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin and blended out with ease along the edges. It wore nicely for eight hours before fading a bit.

Blood Moon

Terra Moons Blood Moon Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) as a deep, almost inky, black base with multichromatic pearl that shifted between blackened eggplant, reddish-eggplant, red, and intense orange-copper. The interesting part about this shade was its satin finish, whereas most multichrome eyeshadows are metallic/sparkly.

It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that felt almost wet to the touch, and this helped the product adhere evenly to bare skin and blended out nicely along the edges. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
