Terra Moons Space Case, The Cosmos, Solar Expansion Extreme Multichrome Shadows Reviews & Swatches

Space Case

Terra Moons Space Case Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) seemed to have a greener base with an intense, multichromatic shift that went from warmer, olive gold to lime green to pale periwinkle to plummy-purple. The eyeshadow had a smooth, metallic sheen that was shiny but did a great job of showcasing the shift in a variety of lighting–no hunting for those shifts at all.

The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable, though it was more loosely-pressed in the pan, so I’d recommend using a lighter hand when working with it, but the formula itself had a good amount of binder in it, which helped minimize fallout. It had opaque pigmentation that wore well for nine hours before fading a bit.

$17.00/0.05 oz. – $340.00 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to have a black base and “intense color changes” that are best applied with fingertip or a dry brush, as they are “very pigmented and smooth.” The brand recommends not to blend them too much to “preserve the extreme multichrome shift.”

The blackened base was noticeable, but often, it wasn’t quite as dark or as intense as I’ve experienced with other black-base multichromes, so they were a little more forgiving if one blended them out a little too much. Most of the shades lived up to the “extreme” part of the shift, too!

They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

The Cosmos

Terra Moons The Cosmos Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) appeared to have almost a sky blue base with multichrome shimmer/small sparkle that shifted from pinky-lavender to cooler gold to green-gold to teal paired with a sparkling, metallic finish. It had rich color coverage with a soft, more loosely-pressed consistency that was on the fragile side, so using a lighter hand would be ideal with this shade.

I found using a flatter brush helped, too, to ensure even pickup but without having to press too hard on the surface. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before creasing faintly on me.

Solar Expansion

Terra Moons Solar Expansion Extreme Multichrome Shadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a softer black base with multichrome sparkle that shifted from plummy red to dirty, green-gold to olive green to emerald green. It had an intense, sparkling and metallic finish that yielded a bit of fallout whenever I used it dry, though I didn’t have issues with continued fallout during wear.

The texture was smooth, almost like a loosely-pressed cream-powder hybrid, so the binder helped the product adhere evenly to bare skin and have longer wear. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before creasing slightly on me.
