No Way

JD Glow No Way Pressed Multichrome ($15.00 for 0.095 oz.) has a blackened base with multichromatic shimmer that shifted between warmer plum to copper to olive green to brighter, chartreuse green paired with a metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented where a little went a long way with a strong, noticeable shift.

The texture was smooth, moderately dense, and creamy with good adhesion to bare skin, though it was slightly thick so it worked well with fingertips over a dry brush (a dampened brush would be preferred, if more precision was necessary). It showed signs of creasing after eight and a half hours of wear.

Formula Overview

$15.00/0.095 oz. – $157.89 Per Ounce

The formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with a “finely-milled” and “velvety” feel that the brand recommends applying with fingertips. The texture ranged from more densely-packed into the pan to more emollient, almost flaky while still having slip to it.

They were intensely pigmented and very high-shine. The eyeshadows were best applied using a fingertip to press and smooth it on, though I found a dampened brush was pretty easy to use as well (for those wanting more precision). The edges were blendable, but it was easier to use a separate matte eyeshadow to really diffuse and blow out the edge. They lasted between eight and nine hours before creasing visibly on me.

See Weed

JD Glow See Weed Pressed Multichrome ($15.00 for 0.095 oz.) has a blackened base with multichromatic shimmer that shifted between emerald green, grass green, teal, and cool blue paired with a metallic finish. The multichrome shift came through strongly, and it was both shiny while having a lot of depth. The consistency was smooth, moderately dense, and creamy, which gave it great adhesion to bare skin without fallout.

It had opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out without too much effort along the edge, but it was slightly thicker, which gave it a lot of depth but took away a touch from its ability to blend. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before creasing a bit.

Umm

JD Glow Umm Pressed Multichrome ($15.00 for 0.095 oz.) has a blackened base with multichromatic shimmer that shifted between warmer purple to cooler purple to teal to burgundy to red paired with a metallic finish. The shift was intense–there was no having to hunt for it at all!

The eyeshadow yielded opaque color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and smoothly to bare skin without fallout or sheering out too readily. The texture was moderately dense, firmly-pressed but not to the point of being stiff, though it applied better with a fingertip (as recommended by the brand) over a dry brush. It wore well for eight hours before creasing faintly.
