ColourPop Lust for Dusk 16-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($24.00 for 0.64 oz.) includes a mix of more faded or dusty neutral hues with six shimmer shades and 10 matte/semi-matte shades. The quality was decent, though some shades required an eyeshadow primer to build up coverage as there was moderate powderiness throughout most of the matte shades.

Take the Lead

Miser
Miser is a warmer, more orange base with flecks of blue-to-aqua shifting sparkle. The texture was denser and thicker, which gave it a creamier feel to the touch, but made it harder to pick up with a dry brush and get even application. Twilight
Twilight is a medium gray with subtle, cool undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had medium pigmentation, which was somewhat buildable, but even over a primer, it was never opaque. The texture was soft, slightly thinner and drier to the touch with moderate powderiness (likely responsible for the sheerness). It wore well for seven and a half hours before fading a bit.

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours.
The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.
