Chanel Sunkissed Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid ($48.00 for 1 oz.) is a light-medium, champagne gold with warmer undertones and ultra-fine pearl that gave it a barely-there, luminous sheen when applied to skin. It had a more watery consistency, and it was marketed to work all-over, mixed in with other products, or patted on the high points of the face/body to highlight, which made it an intentionally sheerer formula.

The coverage was sheer, while the highlighting effect was subtle, so it definitely worked well for more all-over radiance, particularly with foundation, moisturizer, or tinted moisturizer. As a standalone highlighter, it was a little more watery than ideal and worked better over bare skin as it tended to move around base products slightly. I’d recommend pumping a bit onto the back of one’s hand, then stippling it on top of foundation, which helped to absorb some of the wateriness and made it easier to work with over products.

It dried down for the most part, but it left behind a soft, golden sheen that looked a little wet but not overtly shimmery. The product stayed on well for eight hours before fading a bit, and interesting enough, the wear time claimed was actually eight hours (so rare for a face product).
